Free Robot Build and Open House 2017 04 29

Free Robot Build and Open House

April 29th, 2017 (Saturday) - Use the form at the right to RSVP!

We're hosting an open house and free robot build session on April 29th, 2017, from 10am - 1pm. As our first open house at our new Robotics lab in Rolling Hills Estates, we will be showcasing our robotics competition teams that are returning from the World Championship. At 11 am we will have a building session for the first 10 people to RSVP for this event. After the build session, our visitors will have the opportunity to meet the team which includes some of the best young roboticists aged 9 - 16 yrs old. They will be having a discussion about their experiences and we'll let a few lucky kids actually operate their championship-caliber robots.

Sliding Mouse Robot

For the build session attendees, we will be building the Sliding Mouse Robot. This is a cute robot from Japan, a simple but educational build suitable for ages 6 and up. It operates using vibrabot locomotion. After building, we will decorate, race and battle these robots. And best of all you get to take your new robotic friend home!

RSVP now to get in on the Open House, and the first 10 people to respond will get a follow-up email from us in a day or two with instructions about how to register for the free build session. We hope to see you there!
